Laptop lost after being found

Hi, I forgot my Dell Laptop on a Porter flight last week. Porter in crew member confirmed they had my laptop and it would be delivered to me at my next gate. This never happened. Ive been waiting several hours on the phone to get some answers as well as sending regular email follow ups and now they canny find my laptop. Further to my previous complaint: I have finally received confirmation that my entire trip was purchasd and paid for in Canadian funds not U.S. that PORTER CLAIMS !I have the confirmation e-mail from Celebrity showing my copy of charges -which Porter saw almost a month...

I submitted the Porter Experience Survey on Jnuary 17 explaining my
dissatisfaction with their billing practice of charging me in U.S. funds for luggage and seats -an extra charge of $ 49.07.-They claim the flight was charged in U.S.

funds so the charges were corect. I stated the flight was in Canadian funds and if they sent me an e-mail address; I could provide the proof to them !

-I sent this to them twice and I received confirmation that they had received it ...however over a month later and still no response !
I originally demanded a refund of $49.07 but due to the grief and stubborness on their part -probably embarrassed to be caught in fraudulent billing practices I know insist on a full refund of $ 181.37.
If I dont receive a response in 14 days I will file an official complaint with the Canadian Transportation Agency.
I am also considering legal action with a large higher amount and court costs .! I am not going away Porter !!!

We love flying Porter as do our family and friends, our complaint is that every flight we book has an eventual time change, this is not normal procedure. We could have booked on another airline that has stable flight times. What is the reason for these continuous time changes?

I miss my flight

I am currently in Dubai and have to go to France and I missed the flight because I can go to Amsterdam because I don't have the visa so I had to pay fees to change my itinerary.

Delayed Bags

I flew from toronto Pearson airport to ottawa and after to thunderbay on January the 8th, my checked bag didnt arrived, I filled the delayed bag form and got told my bags where going to arrive the next day in a flight at the same hour, its now January the 12th and I have no update from porter on my bag

I was really disappointed with your service. You are only interested in making sales but exactly the benefit of your customers. My experience with you was not an encouraging. After purchasing a round ticket, and could not meet up, i tried with everything I could to contact or make my complaint, all I heard was, "we are sorry"

User's recommendation: Do Not Travel in Porter Airline. They always cancel flight and people miss their connection. Worst customer service and very rude staff. Stay away from porter airline.

Delayed baggage

Wrong information given at check-in causing luggage to be left at connecting airport. Communication with Porter air by phone is almost impossible except for booking flights. When they called back and the phone connection fell through there was no call back and therefore my issue is still unresolved.

Items stolen from luggage

On 09 November 2023, I flew on PD2345 from Ottawa (YOW) to Boston (BOS). Prior to boarding in Ottawa, I was advised to gate check one of my carry-on bags - which i did.

Upon arrival that same day, i noticed the bag I gate checked was missing the lock i placed on it and several items to include a pair of brand-new puma sneakers.

I suspect the luggage handlers either in Ottawa, Canada or in Boston are complicit in this act.

I called over an airline representative to complain. This representative was passing by and assisted some of my fellow passengers.

This person appeared to apathetic to my concerns, so I moved on.

I also made a formal complaint to the Ottawa Airport. I've yet to hear a response from the relevant authorities.

Please assist.

I have received compensation from Porter but need help claiming the money.

I have received compensation from Porter for Hotel because the plane was delayed

in St. John's, Nfld.

It took a month to receive the compensation after I made the claim.

I was told that they were backlogged.

I had to have a Porter Authority number or something. I didnt know what that was. I had to call Customer Service and stay on hold for quite a while to get an answer. They said I had been sent an email.

I didnt remember getting a special number. However, the Customer Service clerk spoke to a Manager and got the number for me. I was able to enter this number and then the money came through and went into my bank account.

I stayed at the Quality Inn near the airport and the total was $298 including tax. I got all of that back from Porter.

My dinner came to $35.70. I received $15 for that. Who can have dinner for $15 unless you eat at Macdonalds?

I was a little put out but I didnt complain. I guess I was pretty happy to get $313.00 back as compensation!

User's recommendation: Apply for compensation if you need to. Keep receipts and call in and ask how your claim is coming along.

I am trying to receive the compensation that you have sent me. I was trying to send a message since I am on hold on the phone (20 minutes so far). You said I had to verify my email with a code. You sent the code and I entered it incorrectly. You did not give me a second chance. You told me i have to wait 24 hours to write another message! Why didnt you just send me another code.?

Just read the story on line on Doug or Douglas from PEI trying to fly from Halifax to Dublin . That situation is terrible . Porter needs to pay the $8000 he invested for the trip. Hoping to see that he is made whole or if not that would deter me from ever using or recommending your airline..

I travelled from Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) to Toronto via Doha and Montreal on 28th September. I did not received my stroller at Montreal airport.

We boarded the next flight (Porter Airlines) to Toronto without our stroller on 28th Sept 2023. In Toronto airport we have made the report of delayed baggage on arrival to Toronto

I was in Toronto between 28th Sept till 3rd October. I thought airlines will try its best to sent the stroller to me before I left Canada but no response.
I am back in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) since 5th October. I still did not received any news about my stroller.
I have made numerous calls to Canada and spend so much money on IDD calls.

Still no response from Porter Airline about whereabouts of my stroller. Is it in Montreal or Toronto Airport?
If it is in Montreal or Toronto ...I have seen no efforts from airline to send the stroller back to me in Malaysia or at least updates about stroller.
I have tried calling Porter Airline through call.

Phone lines are always busy. Please search my stroller and update me and arrange to sent it to Malaysia

Unfair treatment and unjust removal from flight

Due to a very delayed delight from Toronto , my seat was occupied by someone lease and in a bid to be respectful, I asked for an alternate seat and not available and the flight attendants asked me to sit anywhere on the plane. So I sat on seat 7B, not long after that someone else came up to the adjacent seat of 7D which was empty.

Then a different t flight attendant came up to me and asked me to vacate the seat and return to my originally assigned seat which I explained why I had to sit there.. She started raising her voice at me and said I cant sit there and I asked her to show me an alternate seat and Im ready to switch. Then I noticed she went to call someone else to come talk to me which I appreciated for an objective approach.

The person came and I explained the same thing but this time I got offered a seat at the back of the plane which I happily accepted and asked to be shown the new seat number but was told I cant be taken there until I confirmed I was ready to listen to the rules given by the disrespectful attendant and I didnt understand why that was an issue when I didnt break my rules.

When things went south, the pilot got up and i immediately went to explain what happed, it was during our conversation that this disrespectful attendant said oh we apologize you were told to seat anywhere but thats not the way we operate.

I got kicked out of the flight and had to miss going home to my baby and prior scheduled business engagements that cost a good amount of dollars.

The question is if truly sitting on a different seat was a safety issue , why did one attendant give me the go ahead to find a seat anywhere on the plane and the other one singled me out blowing it out of proportion?

Arent the flight attendants meant to be on the same page with regards seating plan of thr plan? Why do I have to be at the mercy of an attendant who lacked empathy and a pilot who insisted on permissive removal to kick me out without understanding my side of the story or taking into consideration the error of his crew member?

I describe this experience as an intense act of discrimination that demands true justice!
